Amp provides managed AI employees for commercial electrical contractors. This policy explains what information we collect, why we collect it, and how we use it. If you have questions, email [email protected] or call (802) 219-2718.
1. Who this covers
This policy applies to visitors of ampemployee.com, people who contact Amp by phone, email, calendar booking, or social media, and customers who engage Amp to install and manage an AI employee inside their existing tools.
2. Information we collect
Website and hosting
When you visit our site, our hosting and network providers (including Cloudflare) may process standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, device information, pages viewed, referring URL, and approximate location derived from IP. We use this to operate the site, keep it secure, and understand basic traffic.
Discovery calls and scheduling
If you book a call through our scheduling link (Zoho Calendar) or ask us to schedule one, we collect the details you provide: name, email, phone number, company, preferred time, and any notes you include. We use that information to run the conversation and follow up.
Phone and voice receptionist
You can call Amp at (802) 219-2718. That line is answered by an Amp voice receptionist powered by xAI. Calls may be processed to understand your request, book or propose a consultation, take a message, transfer you to a human when available, or send a follow-up email. Call-related data can include your phone number, the time of the call, and the content of the conversation as needed to complete those tasks.
Email and messaging
If you email us at [email protected] or reply to Amp correspondence, we keep the message content and metadata needed to respond and maintain a business record. Email is handled through Zoho Mail.
CRM and sales records
We keep business-contact and pipeline records in Zoho CRM. Those records may include name, company, role, email, phone, website, public business information, notes from research or conversations, lead status, and related follow-up history.
Customer engagement data
If you hire Amp, we need access to the systems and materials required to design, configure, prove, and manage the AI employee role. Depending on the engagement, that can include email, texts or phone notes, spreadsheets, Drive or shared folders, bid portals, estimating packages, calendars, and related office records. We access customer systems only as needed to deliver the managed service, and we treat customer business content as confidential.
Social media
If you interact with Amp on Instagram (@ampemployee) or X (@ampemployee), we may see the public profile information and content you share with us through those platforms, subject to each platform’s own terms and privacy settings.
Payments
If you pay Amp, we collect billing contact details and payment confirmation information. Card or bank data is typically processed by the payment provider you use with us; we do not store full payment-card numbers on the Amp website.
3. How we use information
- Operate the website and Amp contact channels
- Schedule and run discovery or fit conversations
- Respond to calls, emails, and social messages
- Evaluate fit, prepare proposals, and manage customer relationships
- Install, manage, measure, and offboard AI employee engagements
- Send service-related notices and, where appropriate, marketing you can opt out of
- Improve the offer, protect against abuse, and meet legal obligations
4. How we share information
We share information with service providers that help us run Amp, including hosting and security (Cloudflare), email and CRM (Zoho), calendar scheduling (Zoho), voice-agent infrastructure (xAI), and payment processors when you pay us. We may also share information if required by law, to protect rights or safety, or with your direction (for example, transferring a call to Michael or emailing a confirmation you requested).
We do not sell your personal information. We do not rent prospect lists built from your Amp conversations for unrelated advertising.
5. Retention
We keep information for as long as needed for the purposes above: website logs for a limited operational period, sales and correspondence records for an ordinary business period, and customer engagement materials for the life of the engagement plus a reasonable period afterward for continuity, accounting, and dispute handling. When an engagement ends, we wind down Amp’s access to your systems as part of offboarding.
6. Security
We use commercially reasonable safeguards appropriate to a small managed-service business. No method of transmission or storage is perfectly secure. For customer work, we prefer dedicated service identities and least-necessary access inside your existing tools rather than moving your shop onto a new Amp-owned platform.
7. Your choices
- You can decline to provide information, though some features (booking, calling, becoming a customer) will not work without it.
- You can ask us to correct or update contact details.
- You can ask us to delete personal information we hold about you, subject to records we must keep for legal, accounting, or active-engagement reasons.
- You can stop marketing emails using the unsubscribe method provided, or by emailing us.
- You can end an Amp engagement; ending the service is designed to leave your systems and process with you.
To make a privacy request, email [email protected].
8. Children
Amp is a business service for commercial electrical contractors. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children.
9. Third-party sites and tools
Our site and booking links may send you to third-party services (for example, Zoho Calendar). Those services have their own privacy practices. This policy covers Amp’s use of information, not every third-party product on the internet.
10. Changes
We may update this policy as Amp’s tools or practices change. The effective date at the top of the page will change when we do. Continued use of the site or services after an update means you accept the revised policy.
